Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel provides beautiful, spacious rooms with a balcony, though the air conditioning can be noisy. The cleanliness is exceptional, offering great value for the price.
The hotel is conveniently located at the edge of town, offering a beautiful Ubud vibe with easy access to local restaurants and the start of the shopping street and Monkey Forest. The room placement may not be ideal, being above the reception and lacking a clean atmosphere in the cheapest room, but the off-center location brings a unique charm.
The hotel was situated just off the main road into Ubud, set back in a lush oasis of green and blue, which we found really good. The rooms lacked a bit of thought with minor issues like the absence of net curtains and proper mugs. Despite looking different from the advertised villas, the overall experience was pleasant.
The Garden House offers nice and comfortable rooms, although the ladder to the mezzanine might be steep for very young children. It's a suitable place for families with young ones due to the backward ladder leading up to the loft.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although spacious and beautifully designed, were quite dim and not as clean as I would have liked. On the bright side, my room had a balcony with a lovely view of the location, which was a nice touch. However, being situated right above the kitchen was a bit noisy at times. The location was convenient, close to local restaurants and the starting point of the shopping street. The hotel made me feel at ease and was only a short distance from Ubud market with a motorcycle ride. Despite the positives, the dining options were somewhat limited, and the lack of high chairs for babies was a drawback. The service was efficient, though not always on time, which posed challenges when I had tours scheduled. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory, but it could use some improvement in various aspects. Ultimately, a stay at this hotel had its ups and downs.
The hotel was not what we expected and left us disappointed during my 5 days stay, but the rooms were fine as well, we just expected something different, with a balcony overlooking the location very nice. The service was good, and the location was extremely nice and well taken care of. The dining experience was simple, nourishing, and made with love, but a little bland. The hotel facilities were decent.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were luxurious and simply amazing for the price, even though there was no safe or wine glasses and the lighting could have been better. The location was beautiful, giving off authentic Ubud vibes, and near convenient local restaurants and the Monkey Forest, although it wasn't very private being close to the entrance. The dining options were a bit limited, but the fresh farm-to-table products were a nice touch.
